Shipping Policy

Research use only. Products are not for human consumption, animal use, diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of disease.

1. Order Processing

Orders are processed after payment confirmation, internal review, inventory confirmation, and compliance screening.

Typical processing time is 1–3 business days, excluding weekends, holidays, carrier closures, high-volume periods, verification holds, inventory review, weather disruptions, system outages, and other circumstances outside our control.

Processing times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

2. Business Days

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and closures.

Orders placed after cutoff times, on weekends, or during holidays may begin processing on the next business day.

Expedited shipping methods, if available, do not necessarily reduce order processing time.

3. Shipping Methods and Carriers

Available shipping options and rates are displayed at checkout when applicable.

Carrier selection may include USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, regional carriers, or other carriers depending on destination, service availability, product type, packaging requirements, and business needs.

Phase One Labz reserves the right to change the carrier or shipping service when necessary to complete fulfillment, improve delivery reliability, comply with carrier rules, or address operational requirements.

4. Address Accuracy

Customers are solely responsible for providing a complete, accurate, current, and deliverable shipping address at checkout.

This includes correct recipient name, street address, apartment or suite number, city, state, postal code, country, phone number, and any delivery access information required.

Phase One Labz is not responsible for lost, delayed, returned, misdelivered, or undeliverable packages caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, inaccessible, or improperly formatted addresses.

5. Address Changes

Address changes are not guaranteed after an order is placed.

If a customer requests an address change, Phase One Labz may attempt to update the order before shipment but is not responsible if the order has already entered processing, fulfillment, label creation, carrier pickup, or transit.

Customers may be responsible for additional fees, delays, or replacement costs caused by address-change requests.

6. Delivery Estimates

Delivery estimates are provided by carriers and are not guaranteed by Phase One Labz.

Carrier delays, weather events, customs review, operational disruptions, holidays, security issues, address problems, delivery restrictions, and other external events may affect delivery.

Phase One Labz is not liable for losses, inconvenience, missed deadlines, or consequential damages resulting from carrier delay or delivery estimate changes.

7. Tracking Information

When available, tracking information will be provided after shipment.

Tracking updates are controlled by the carrier and may take time to appear or update.

A lack of immediate tracking movement does not necessarily mean the package has not shipped or that the package is lost.

8. Risk of Loss

To the fullest extent permitted by law, risk of loss may transfer to the customer once the order is handed to the carrier or placed into the carrier network.

Phase One Labz is not responsible for carrier delays, failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, theft after delivery, packages marked delivered, packages delivered to an address provided by the customer, or packages lost due to customer-provided address errors.

9. Packages Marked Delivered

If tracking shows a package as delivered, Phase One Labz will generally consider the order delivered.

Customers should check mailboxes, parcel lockers, front desk, reception areas, neighbors, building management, and carrier pickup locations before contacting support.

Phase One Labz is not responsible for theft, loss, or disappearance after delivery scan unless required by law or expressly approved in writing.

10. Failed Delivery, Refused Delivery, and Returned Packages

If a package is refused, unclaimed, undeliverable, returned due to address issues, returned due to customer absence, or returned due to carrier restrictions, the customer may be responsible for additional fees.

Returned packages are not automatically eligible for refund, replacement, or reshipment.

Because products are research-use-only materials with chain-of-custody, storage, and integrity concerns, returned packages may be rejected, discarded, or ineligible for resale.

11. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Shipments

If a shipment appears damaged, missing items, leaking, tampered with, or incorrect, the customer must notify Phase One Labz within 48 hours of the delivery scan.

The customer must provide order number, tracking number, photos of the outer packaging, photos of inner packaging, photos of all items received, and any carrier notices.

Failure to notify us within the stated window may limit or eliminate available support.

12. Shipping Restrictions

We reserve the right to restrict, cancel, refuse, or hold shipments to certain addresses, jurisdictions, forwarding services, reshippers, PO boxes, parcel lockers, high-risk locations, or destinations where compliance concerns exist.

Customers are responsible for ensuring products may be lawfully shipped to, received at, possessed in, and used in their destination.

Phase One Labz is not responsible for seizures, holds, restrictions, returns, disposal, penalties, customs actions, or carrier refusals caused by destination restrictions or customer noncompliance.

13. Carrier Rules and Restricted Materials

Shipments may be subject to carrier rules, hazardous-material rules, restricted-material rules, prohibited-item rules, packaging requirements, temperature considerations, documentation requirements, and destination limitations.

If a carrier refuses, delays, holds, returns, damages, disposes of, or destroys a shipment due to regulatory, safety, packaging, or carrier concerns, Phase One Labz is not responsible except where required by law.

14. International Shipping

International shipping, if offered, is subject to customs rules, import restrictions, taxes, duties, inspections, seizures, documentation requirements, and destination-country laws.

Customers are solely responsible for determining whether products may be lawfully imported, possessed, and used in the destination country.

Customs fees, import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, penalties, seizures, delays, or returns are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law.

15. Heat, Cold, Weather, and Environmental Exposure

Carrier networks may expose packages to heat, cold, sunlight, moisture, delays, and environmental conditions outside Phase One Labz’s control.

Phase One Labz is not responsible for degradation, temperature exposure, weather delay, or environmental conditions occurring after carrier handoff unless expressly required by law or approved in writing.

Customers should retrieve packages promptly after delivery.

16. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are generally non-refundable.

If an order is returned, refused, cancelled after processing, reshipped, or affected by customer error, additional shipping fees may apply.

Free shipping promotions, if offered, may be subject to minimums, exclusions, restrictions, or reversal if an order is cancelled or modified.

17. Final Shipping Determination

All shipping-related exceptions, replacements, credits, or reshipments are determined by Phase One Labz in its sole discretion, subject to applicable law.
